First, there are millions of ways to start building your grid, as you may already know after you have searched and viewed the profiles of other companies. When I am talking about the grid, I mean that there are three pictures in one row and I urge you to think your grid in a way that you see and plan nine of the post in your feed.
Let’s say you are a personal trainer and you want to post motivational posts into your feed. You can then do it in a way that every other post is a motivational post, and the rest are pictures. You just need to focus on the outlook of the motivational posts and keep them similar, for example, the background color of them can always be white. You can change the outlook of the content on that post, however, I would keep the font always the same, so there is consistency.
The Row-by-row grid can be built in a few different ways. Photos in one row can be taken from the same place, so there is a familiarity that can be easily spotted. Again, let’s say you are a personal trainer. The first picture of the row may be taken from a long distance and it could be a sports field where your customer can be seen from a long distance. The second one could be that same person in action and the picture could be more closely taken from that person. Line in the middle
The third option for your grid is that you have a line in the middle. In the middle, you could have the motivational quotes if again, you are a personal trainer. And each side of that would be pictures. If you are not a personal trainer, but you are drawn into this type of grid, the line picture could be some tip that you are sharing relating to your business. With the line in the middle grid, I suggest you still focus on the pictures on the sides so the color scheme of those pictures would be similar to each other. You can also do the side photos in the row-by-row type of way, but instead of posting three pictures of the same place or color or whatever the case is, you post two leaving the line in the middle.
Here is an example (again) of one of my accounts where I have used line in the middle. At the moment, the middle line is going through a small alternation and I am doing it in a way, that it is not so apparent for an eye to notice.
There are also different kinds of apps for creating a certain type of grid. For example, the theme all through the grid can be the same color scheme. However, there is absolutely no need for you to have an app to do this, as long as you know, which kind of outlook you want your account to have.
